I am a huge fan of pearls and this site was like a drug. I love the Classic Collection AA+ 8.5 to 9.5 mm White Akoya Pearl Pendant. My mother gave me a beautiful pearl pendant when I was sixteen. A couple of years ago, my necklace broke and I lost the pendant. I would love to find a replacement for it, which suprisingly is hard to do. This would make a nice replacement. I've always wanted a pearl necklace. My mother doesn't have any but my grandmother did. She only wore them on Sunday's when she went to church! When we were in China, October 2007, adopting our little girl we bought peals for her, me and both grandmas. And very very special memory, so I completely understand what you are saying about how different gems (or non-gems!) make you think of your daughter/husband, etc.

I have always wanted a floating pearl, they didn't have them when we were in China so picked out a lovely hanging one, but it wasn't what I was hoping to find. I found what I was looking for through you! It's the Baroque Tahitian Pendant on a Silk Cord and it's simply beautiful. Someday I hope we can get it. I do love the necklace you are giving away also, it is stunning! I cannot even imagine owning something as beautiful as that. Oh my.

I've never had a pearl necklace before...I don't know why. The 18-inch 9.0-10.5 mm AA+/AAA Round Tahitian Pearl Necklace, actually any of the Tahitian Pearl necklaces, are my favorites. I love the range of colors, the almost metallic look to them.

I love, love, LOVE the 16-inch 7.0-7.5mm AA+ or AAA Black Akoya Pearl Necklace. It's so elegant and just absolutely stunning.
